Wes's grandfather met Carl Sandberg. He came out to Idaho to do some logging in the forests. Grandpa wasn't too impressed with him. :-) Too dreamy, wouldn't do a full day's work. I guess he was thinking up poetry. :-)

I always loved that Sanburg poem. I think it was in one of the four books that lived next to the encyclopedia's at home!
