Test results

We have results from our battery of tests. Thankfully, we received a couple of results by e-mail three weeks ago. Getting them all at once would have "put us under." Yes, the sign says no gluten. It should also say no dairy. These restrictions look to be pretty permanent as they were genetic tests. (Right now we are also on a sugar free diet; so we have lots of challenges when it comes to meals and snacks.) When our fungal problems subside we'll be able to do sugars again.

We were happy to find out that we do not have any ameba or parasites; we have normal ph readings, we do not have leaky gut syndrome. Good news.

However, our mold panel came back not so good. The doctor is recommending another test. This test involves leaving our home. If we go to a dryer climate for three weeks and we start feeling better, he believes that we have sensitivies to mold in our house. If this theory proves true, we would need to find another home. We're not sure if that would mean in Moscow or elsewhere.

Needless to say it was hard to come back to our beautiful home, in the town and neighborhood that we love, while considering these things. The last six years in this place have been such a blessing to us. We don't want to move! (And that's saying something given our track record.)

Thank you for the update, Mrs. McIntosh. I'll be praying for your family as you adjust to new things and make new decisions.

I'm so sorry to hear that the allergies that you have are causing such havoc for you. The verse from Kate of all things working together for good for those that love God comes to my mind too. It's so hard to understand the why's of life. Yet learning to trust Him and lean closer to His heart are essential ingredients for our walk with Christ.

May you sense His peace, grace and direction to discern what the next step is. It seems that God often lights our paths just enough for us to see the next step. It's not until we take that step that the next one is illuminated.

Praying for you and your family...

Im so sorry to hear this, I do know what it is like to want to stay and still be forced to move, we are in a similiar situation but not because of health reasons we just have outgrown our home! I will pray for you as you go through this...Parts of California are dry if you are thinking of going! The high desert is (victorville, apple valley, hesperia) are all pretty dry (no mold) and the housing is not to expensive compared to the rest of california! In Him and Ill be praying...

May you feel Him close as you walk this unsure road...May He sustain you---be your bread and water---regardless.

He is leading you on!

Oh my. Allergies is a horrible thing. My hubby suffers really bad with allergies - so I know what you are going through. There are many products now without gluten you can buy even in a regular store.
I do hope that you do not need to leave your home though.
Praying for you and yours.

What a blessing! When I decided to keep this blog I didn't begin to realize all the support and encouragement I would receive from it. I'm overwhelmed. It was such a gift to hear from you this morning Faith, destination gloryland, leann, tanya, ann, pam, and eph2810. Your prayers for our family are appreciated tremendously. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS, Mrs. Mc

I will be adding you and your family to my prayer list. I will be praying for God to give you the strength and peace you need to get through this difficult time....I know allergies can be very uncomfortable!

I know you long for a bit of "back to normal" and I know you must be very sad about possibly having to move. But remember that God loves you and yours even more than you do!

Take care!

I just found your blog, and want to say that I am so sorry for what you are going through. Alergies are no fun. I will pray that God will allow you to rid yourselves of what is going on, possibly giving you a chance to stay at your home. But remember God's ways are not always our ways, and He may have something so awesome planned for you in another place that you will find. May you clearly see the open and closed doors ahead.

I'm sorry for all these things going on in your daughter. My son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease earlier this year and I know it is a huge adjustment to make just with that one thing. I'm sure all the other problems just add to that difficulty.

I will be praying that you will be able to adjust to all the diet restrictions. We do fairly well now that we are more used to it. It can still be so frustrating though. I just want to have the good old days back when we could eat whatever we wanted and go out to eat where ever we wanted.

Please let me know if you need any information and help with the CD part. I will be praying for the other areas that they might soon be resolved. It is rather common for people with CD to have more allergies and sensitivities so please know that you are not alone.

God Bless.
